Tayport Breakers

About

The Tayport Breakers Baseball Club was founded in late 2019 and is currently led by Jason West. The team draws from several areas in the east, including Dundee, Fife, Cupar, St. Andrews, and Perth.

The team’s motto is CatchTheWave, as their home games are played at Tom Waddell Memorial Field, a beautiful field constructed by the players on the shoreline of the River Tay.

The Breakers endeavour to teach, play, and compete to a high level, so as to serve as an emissary of the sport, a leader within our own community, and to build a foundational program surrounding Scottish baseball that will last for years to come.

The Breakers have taken home plenty of silverware in recent seasons, including:

• 2022 "A" SNBL League Champions

• 2022 "A" Scottish National Champions (Caledonia Classic)

• 2022 "AAA" Scottish National Champions (Caledonia Classic)

• 2023 "A" Scottish National Champions (Caledonia Classic)
